Reasonably priced place

Had a very good stay for our last night. Our room was bright and well-appointed with a kingsize bed.- Continental breakfast offered a good choice of dishes.- Having a roll-in shower, hair dryer, and bath sheets was a bonus.My stay at Mercure Avignon Gare TGV was reasonably priced and enjoyable. Excellent home base for 1 night. Honestly no reason to complain. Overall - beautifully designed place with consistently courteous staff in terms of service. Location - incredible, near the roundabout, and a lovely restuarant called Le Vernet. Excellent food in the restaurant, extensive breakfast with delicious breads, chocolate, cheese.

The hotel is beautifully designed and the staff are very attentive in terms of service. The brand-new rooms have comfy beds. The location is ideal and right on a bus line. It's a short walk to the Central Station where you can take the train to Arles and the center.

I recently stayed at a hotel just outside Avignon city center and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and high level of service provided. Secondly, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring Provence. It was conveniently located by the roundabout on the southern ring road, making it easy to access the city center by bus or car. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with a good working shower and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also included, with many options to choose from.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and there's really nothing that I think could be improved.

This hotel is very close to the TGV station, you can arrive very late and check in without any problems. The room was clean and the bathroom was very large, with a nice shower and a separate toilet (great, doesn't happen often!) Although we had a room directly at the street, there was no street noise when the window was closed. The air conditioner could be operated without any problems so you could sleep comfortably despite closed window. The breakfast for 12€ was very tasty, there was even frozen yoghurt. Only spreads for bread as cheese or sausage were barely available and the jam was only available from the mini package. The coffee machine, however, upgraded this again, coffee and cocoa tasted excellent. Also the croissant, the lemon cake and the pain au chocolate were delicious. As for the scrambled eggs, they tasted a bit unusual, but not bad! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel was also very appealing.

The bed was a little hard.

It had all the expected amenities for a modern hotel in its price range, and the free wifi was very helpful. Good location for access to/from the Avignon TGV station and rental cars there.

Convenient location close to Carrefour supermarket, Arles, and Le Baux. The surroundings are pretty open 🌳. The food at the hotel is just fantastic!

Enjoyed how top rated the property was and its hard-working staff in terms of service. The location in a very nice area was peaceful and secure and there were a mall and supermarkets nearby. The restaurant was cheap for dinner, it had light dishes. No reason to complain, the hotel exceeded high expectations.

The room itself was clean and well equipped, with relatively new furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I also loved the fact that there was a nice view from my window, it added a little something extra to my stay. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with many options included, which was a great way to start my day. Another plus point was the location of the hotel. It was conveniently located in the city center, with the TGV station just a short bus ride away. The bus stop was right in front of the post office, making it easy to explore Avignon and its surrounding areas. All in all, this hotel offered great value for money and I would definitely consider staying here again.
